In some ways, being busy is a good thing. It could be worse, I know, and I'm very grateful for all of the business that has come my way over the past few years.
But at some point, my business reached a sort of tipping point, and not in a good way. There were (and continue to be) more requests for my services than I can handle. It started to feel as though my business was running me, instead of me running it. And as a result, lots of things started to suffer - including FileMaker Addict.
The good news is that I've managed to take some time to think about things, re-prioritize, learn to say "no" and pass on projects that don't feel like a good fit, and generally get my head "screwed on straight." I have renewed excitement about my business and the projects that I'm either currently working on are that are in the queue. And I'm excited about being able to spend time on FileMaker Addict once again.
In the weeks ahead, look for more regular posts, interviews with members of the FileMaker community, and more...
And thanks for your continued interested in FileMaker Addict!
